A feast of fossil-fuelled fun with theatre, workshops inspired by the new fossil gallery.

Enjoy a fossil-fuelled, dino-tastic theatre show in the garden at Shoemaker Museum this summer! Victorian fossil hunters gather in the belly of a prehistoric creature – Iggy the Iguanadon – for a spectacular feast. Our own fossil collector Alfred Gillett is in good company!
This is a free accessible outdoor family spectacle, a fast and furious panto-style romp through history! with two performances at 12.30 and 2.30pm and some arts workshops alongside the show, so come and roll up your sleeves and get messy, handle a fossil, and maybe make an Iggy badge to take home.
The Iggy show will delight all ages, it is free, and lasts 35 minutes. Running before, between and after shows there will be Dino workshop activities. BSL signing is included in the performances. All venues are outdoors and wheelchair accessible. Bring a picnic, appropriate outdoor clothing and some seating.
The tour is part of the ‘Iggy for All’ project. Supported by the Arts Council, Dorset Council, the Valentine Trust and provided by the fabulous Emerald Ant Theatre Company.
